The first time I ever saw a silicone sex doll was back in 2005, when I came across a video and some pictures of a RealDoll silicone doll.
At the time, I saw the price—around €5,000. Back then, that was a huge amount of money, so my interest gradually faded.
Years passed, and then came 2020.
That year, the world came to a standstill, and I found myself becoming interested in sex dolls again.I found several websites selling sex dolls for around €800.That surprised me, so I started doing some research. Some websites were selling them for €800, while others were asking €1,500.
I thought that €1,500 seemed like a reasonable price, and as I read reviews, I kept seeing discussions about TPE and silicone dolls.
In the end, however, I decided not to take the plunge and let the opportunity pass.
In 2023, a personal situation made me interested in sex dolls once again.
This time, I felt it was the right moment to finally take the plunge.
I watched several YouTube videos explaining the differences between TPE and silicone, as well as the different manufacturers—mostly Chinese brands that offered attractive products at affordable prices.I also visited several forums and learned a great deal.Eventually, I decided to buy my first doll, choosing a TPE model because it was much more affordable than a silicone one.
I asked for advice, and people told me that if my main purpose was sex, loose joints would be the best option.
That turned out to be the worst decision I could have made.
When the doll finally arrived, I was incredibly excited, but the promotional photos looked very different from the actual doll.I felt somewhat disappointed because, although she resembled the pictures, she wasn't exactly the same. The sexual experience was good, but the loose joints quickly became a problem. The doll was so heavy that cleaning her was difficult.Fortunately, I had purchased the removable vagina option, so at least I didn't have to carry the entire doll into the bathroom.
That experience left me feeling disappointed, so I started reading more opinions from other collectors.
Just when I was about to give up on the hobby altogether, I discovered a doll that completely left me speechless.
She was perfect.
I watched several videos, read countless comments, and looked through many photos.
She was a silicone doll, and I completely fell in love with her. Without hesitation, I bought her.
She was the Zelex Inspiration 170C with the Scarlett (GE95-2) and Annebella (G100) heads.
I told myself that if this doll disappointed me, I would never buy another doll again.
The delivery was delayed because Zelex offered to remake her with their new reinforced neck system.
But the moment I opened the box and saw the body, I was amazed by how realistic it looked.
The heads were exactly like the promotional photos, and that was simply wonderful.
She arrived just before Christmas that year, which made it feel even more magical.

However, about two weeks later, something unexpected happened.
I saw a photo of a brand-new doll from a company I had never heard of before—a brand that was just entering the Western market.
She was so beautiful that I couldn't stop thinking about her.
I researched the brand and found a few videos and photos.
Her name was Maria from FANREAL, and it was love at first sight.

I bought her without a second thought.
She was the most expensive doll I had ever purchased, and I remember thinking I was crazy—I had only owned my new doll for two weeks, and I already wanted another one.
That year, I bought three dolls!
When she finally arrived, it was another magical experience.
The body was simply perfect and much softer than I had expected. Her figure was absolutely stunning.
After taking the body out of the box and sitting her down, I picked up Maria's head.
Her implanted hair was the perfect finishing touch.
When I attached her head to the body, all I could do was stare at her.
I noticed that both her eyelashes and eyebrows were individually implanted, and her eyes looked incredibly lifelike.
At that moment, I realized I had a masterpiece in front of me.

One day, I decided to record a short review video of my new doll.
The video was well received by several members of a doll forum, and that's where I met David.I noticed that David had the logo of a store that I had seen advertised on the forum banners—the same store where I had purchased my doll.
I contacted him and told him I was interested in buying another FANREAL doll, and he helped me complete the purchase.
So, one year after buying my first FANREAL doll, I purchased another one.
It was a FANREAL 170D with the Gina ROS and Carlee heads.Throughout the planning process, David was always willing to help with anything I needed. The doll arrived in perfect condition, and everything went exactly as planned.

Since then, I have purchased the FANREAL Maria ROS 2.0 head, the FANREAL 155F with the smaller Maria heads and the Della ROS head, and most recently, the FANREAL 168F with two Lila heads—one with implanted hair and one without.
Today, I own five FANREAL dolls, and I plan to add several more to my collection in the future.
My next purchase will definitely be another FANREAL doll (I'm addicted to this brand!).
It may be the FANREAL UniSeries Maria 170G, or perhaps a replacement for my 170G featuring the new skin textures along with the Mirella and Vanessa heads.
I'm also eagerly waiting to see FANREAL release new bodies, both in the UniSeries line and the standard lineup.
I can't wait to see more beautiful bodies like the 170G and the 168F. And of course, all of my future purchases will be made through BetterLoveDoll.com.
